National Model
Health Kentucky's success in helping the indigent access free health care has had a positive influence on other states. Using the Kentucky model, Arkansas, Georgia and South Carolina have implemented similar statewide programs for their citizens. In addition, the program has been replicated in 40 communities in 24 other states.
Arkansas Health Care Access Foundation
The Arkansas Health Care Access Foundation was founded in 1989 and has served more than 65,000 Arkansans.
